Reviews and Ratings
My stay was average. The standard room I got was basic and too hot, with lots of street noise. I’ve stayed in many 4 and 5-star hotels and this one didn’t stand out much. On the bright side, the location was fantastic with easy access to both the pool and the sea.
The hotel offers spacious, clean rooms with nice views of the mature gardens. The food at the restaurant is excellent, and the overall dining experience comes highly recommended. The service is friendly and attentive, with a minor issue promptly addressed. The location is perfect, right by the beach and within easy reach of the charming village of Afitos.
The hotel's location on the beach below the traditionally Greek village of Afitos is fantastic, offering a great view. The rooms, although small, are surprisingly comfortable despite the initial smell issue. The service, particularly in light of the broken elevator, was commendable. However, the declining location and occasional lift issues are noticeable drawbacks.
The hotel offers a mixed experience with a potentially great view from Room 124 but disappointing room conditions like filthy carpet and curtains. The service, though polite, gives the impression of staff wanting to be elsewhere. The location is excellent near the city center and sea, but the dining experience lacks variety despite being good value for money.
Upon arrival, I found the hotel to be a mixed bag. The rooms were a bit of a letdown as they were absolutely filthy with a horrible smell, but they were surprisingly comfortable and clean, even offering free bottled water. The musty odor hit me like half an hour after we arrived, which was quite unpleasant.
The room at Afitis fell short of expectations, being small and somewhat isolated within the complex. Despite this, the service was friendly and efficient. The location offers beautiful surroundings but perhaps not as convenient as hoped. The dining experience varied, catering more towards business guests, yet satisfactory. The hotel facilities were decent.
The room was on the small side for the price, but it was clean and tidy. The staff were friendly and welcoming, although some requests were met with minimal enthusiasm. The location is fantastic, near the sea and the town center. The dining experience offered a good choice of fresh and quality items. The facilities were decent overall.
The hotel offers spacious, clean, and comfortable rooms with a view of mature gardens, yet some signs of wear are starting to show. The service was lacking enthusiasm, making it seem like they would rather be elsewhere, but requests were promptly attended to. The location, although close to the train station, has seen a decline in recent months. The dining experience provided a good selection of quality items, though the portion sizes might be too small for some. The facilities met basic needs but could use improvement.
I had a mixed experience at Afitis. On the bright side, the hotel offers spacious and clean rooms with lovely garden views, perfect for a relaxing stay. However, the dining options were a letdown with small portions. The service was hit or miss, with some staff being very polite while others seemed more focused on making money.
The hotel is well-located with the pool and sea close by, offering quaint rooms but at a somewhat steep price. The service was mixed, with some pleasant interactions overshadowed by indifferent moments. Dining was of good standard with fresh options, though the facilities could use improvement.
